Classy Men

 We continue to see professional wear on the streets. These clothes are used to ‘class up’ the look of a totally tattooed physique, which is very common nowadays. While tattoos become more and more common, the professional wear continues to be seen all over the place. It seems to be another way of keeping the city classy.

Hello nerds! Not only do these guys have six packs and muscular jaws, but they also have nerdy glasses…. just to show that they are smart, and probably millionaires. It seems to be a relatively modest way of saying “hey ladies, I got an A in high school anatomy…and my other classes too.” It’s become a sexy statement to look kind of dorky because a smart man is always sexy!

Trade Shows

The Designers and Agents trade show will be holding their D&A Man trade show in late July. The shows are held in bright open loft spaces with high ceilings and cement floors in order to give the vendors a great area to present their merchandise. Aquilon menswear trade shows are usually held in Los Angeles and New York. While budget cuts have led to many companies cutting out some of those trips, Aquilon refuses. He realizes that this will help business a lot by being available to many more people than the other companies that cut these trips out. In addition to continuing the Los Angeles and New York trips, Aquilon is going to be holding events in Seattle and San Francisco as well!

Runway Trends

A new spin on the briefcase is being used. It’s a mix between a briefcase and a man bag making it much more friendly for men to use. While street wear is becoming more professional, the professional world is becoming slightly more casual. This contributed to the mix of breifcases and man bags. For men in a professional atmosphere and of any age, this look is well suited with confidence. In the innovators stage, this bag trend is going to catch on pretty quickly because its convenient and more heterosexually friendly.
